The masterful rhetoric of a classic Rage Against the Machine tune:
Killing in the name of
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crossesNow you do what they told you
Those who died are justified
For wearing the badge they’re the chosen whitesNow you’re under control
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
This recording and probably the next few I’ll post have been aging in charred oak barrels. I mention being an old man of 36 but am now an even older man of 37. It was recorded 10/5, which feels like a different world given events since 10/7. But it’s probably truer to say the world’s the same but we’ve had powerful reasons for losing illusions about it. Free Palestine. Free America. Free the world, the workers, the people, the planet. Abrazos.
Capital alludes to profits and accumulation; enforcement alludes to oppression subjugation. The system is not broken… it is working as it was designed. The death of god in the age of idealology refused to accept same inductive reason to answer the question: “who created the creator”. It’s not a matter of choosing the correct initial and “T”rue way of being, but giving ourselves the creative liberties to create the system/game/play/life that is most authentic.
